Who is Barillaro Collision?

The Barillaro name has been associated with the local car repair industry for many years. Barillaro Motor Sales Inc. was first opened in Meriden Connecticut in the 1930s as a used car and auto repair shop, by local businessman Frank Barillaro. The shop was eventually passed on to his son Michael Barillaro during the 1940's and he operated the business until 1976, at which time the business was passed on to Michael's son Allen. Allen Barillaro  ran the business for 25 years before selling the business to Alan Morelli and Darrell LaPoint, the current owners.

Alan and Darrell purchased Barillaro Collision in November of 2000.  The two men bring a combined 35 years of automotive and collision repair to the business.  Both Alan and Darrell are ASE certified and have received GM training and ICar training.  The new owners are committed to continuing the superior customer service and quality repair that has been synonymous with Barillaro Collision for over fifty years.  They look forward to seeing the business grow and prosper in Meriden.

Always dedicated to the community that it serves, Barillaro Collision is a member of the Greater Meriden Chamber of Commerce and supports numerous local fundraising efforts.
